An integer is a number that is a whole number of units from zero on
the number line.
Integers to the left of
zero are less than zero.
They are negative.

Zero is neither negative nor positive.
|
Integers to the right of
zero are greater than zero.
They are positive.

The number that corresponds to a point on the number line is called the coordinate of the point.

The coordinate of A is -2
Graph {-1, 1, 3} on the number line:
Find the point for each number on the number line and draw a dot.
